Jim Dear Boulevard will soon be only a memory after the Carson City Council voted 3-1 Tuesday night July 21, 2015 to have five signs identifying it removed. The sign here seen at the Avalon Boulevard exit from the 405 Freeway soon will be gone from the roadway that will travel through the old landfill when completed. Carson Council votes END DEAR Boulevard Clerk Goes Bonkers Again! Jim Dear Blvd has come to a dead end, as it becomes the boulevard of broken dreams.The City Council voted 3-0 late Tuesday to END DEAR BLVD. Later that night Carson Clerk Jim Dear again started acting erratic interrupting the meeting continuously. A recall has begun by Carson residents was in full swing this week with petitioners showing up in in high traffic commercial sites through out the city.
