California Water Board: Compton Given 8% Water Savings Goal. Cities through out California were given goals to conserve water this year. Compton used 1.8 billion gallons in 2013 was given an 8% goal. The City council says plans have been acted to meet the required targeted goal.

Appointed Carson Mayor Albert Robles home grown. Albert Robles was appointed mayor of Carson at a special city council meeting April 1. Surprisingly the division among the council was set aside and they unanimously supported the appointing Robles to the vacated Mayor’s seat until March 2017.
