
Carson new leadership has balanced budget with cuts on time. Led by new Carson Mayor Albert Robles and a new city council majority a 2017 balanced budget, with cuts, and on time for the first time in 10 years was adopted.
The good news budget comes on the heels of finding the city $9 million over budget in 2016 and dealing with the non-stop shenanigans of trouble making former Mayor and recalled City Clerk Jim Dear.
Coming off of a politically and financially turbulent year, Carson officials have managed to pass a balanced budget for the 2016-17 fiscal year that started July 1.The City Council unanimously approved the spending plan.
